Mashirika launches a new production “Bridge of Roses”.

On the 1st of July 2014, Mashirika launched its new production Bridge of Roses.  The launch took place at Kigali Genocide Memorial amphitheatre.  The launch was in partnership with Aegis White Rose Society.  The play was inspired by the events of the Genocide against the Tutsi.

On the 1st July 2014, all roads in Rwanda led to northern Rwanda at Kinigi the famous place for the Gorila naming ceremony and Mashirika Performing Arts and Media Company was among the key entertainers of the day.

Mashirika uses theatre in creating awareness and increasing demand for fistula prevention and treatment services in Rwanda.

January to  April 2014   Funded by USAID through Rwanda Family Health Project

Mashirika in partnership with Ihorere Munyarwanda Organisation under the funding of USAID through Rwanda family Health Project, conducted community theatre outreaches in four districts of the Eastern province of Rwanda.  Districts included Nyagatare, Rwamagana, Gatsibo and Kayonza.
